80's Corner

Mustaches were a cool thing in the 80's. Don't believe me? Check out Tom Selleck in the TV show Magnum P.I. The man's mustache looked like a broom. Don't forget the TV show Matt Houston - this guy was a rich man's Magnum P.I., driving around in some fancy red sports car, always wearing a suit.

Heck, the best baseball players of the 80's seemed to have mustaches, as evidenced by Keith Herndandez and Michael Jack Schmidt. I was too young to be a part of the mustache craze of the 1980's, sadly, and at this point, mustaches seem to be about as popular as a childrens' sleepover at Michael Jackson's house.

Maybe some day, the mustache will once again gain it's rightful spot at the top of hip trends ... maybe.
