Weird Story

This probably would've lended itself to my old "That's F*cked Up" blog, but I found this quite interesting. Cnn.com had a story yesterday about how some hospital is using military technology and "fairy dust" to grow back someone's finger. My first thought was, "man, Luke Skywalker is probably pissed that he has a robotic hand and didn't wait for this surgery!."

Then, I got to thinking ... Fairy dust? Seriously? Is this what happens when someone sneezes at a gay bar? Just kidding ... but, fairy dust? I mean, c'mon!

On top of that, military intelligence is being used? Oh man, why do I get the feeling that something is definitely going to go wrong with this? This guy is going to grow a gun instead of a finger, isn't he ... and he'll probably drafted into the military and become some sort of robo-soldier, right?

Just so you didn't think I made this up, here's a link to the story:

That's like that whore in that crappy Tarantino flick with a machine gun jammed into her half amputated leg.

Suddenly I can't keep up with all your posts ...

Almost all technology is driven by the military or the adult film industry. Thankfully, this one didn't involve John Bobbitt.

Hmmm. Considering that I am reading The Golden Compass right now and it talks about cosmic Dust (dust with a capital D) I am very scared right now.

hmmmmm fairy dust? LOL so if a fairy sneezes...It will make us all "fairies?" LOL

If that is the case...I want a fairy GODMOTHER who can grant my wishes...hehehehe

Iam glad to hear that instead of siting REAL biological advancements in medicine...cnn.com would rather use "fairy dust" to explain....hmmmmmmm
