Dope or Nope

Michael Scott (Steve Carell) is leaving The Office this season. The show became immensely popular over the years in the U.S. (after it was originally done in England), taking every office-setting stereotype imaginable and weaving them into the show's characters and storylines.

The show is apparently going to go on without Carell and nobody's really sure who, if anybody, will be replacing him. So, dope or nope - on the show going on without its main character?

Hopefully it goes better than Scrubs when the initial cast left... that was some hard watching TV.

I’m going to miss Steve Carell, he’s so funny!! I’m a huge fan and would hate to see The Office go down in flames. If it gets too bad I guess I can take a look at the older episodes I missed at DISHOnline.com. I’m glad I work for DISH Network because I always know about the cool little things that other people don’t know about. At DISHOnline.com I can watch my favorite shows and even order movies to rent through my DVR; it’s pretty cool.

Arlen Specter isn't doing anything. And he'd be great for the role -- he was known as "Mr. Burns" in DC.

I heard that one of the original stars of the English version may take his place, but that they are going to do a bunch of guest stars until they find the right fit. I think Will Ferrel was one of them. Cool!! :)
