This chain of restaurants, which has overtaken the Philadelphia area in recent years, isn't exactly "fast-food," but in my opinion is close enough. Five Guys Burgers and Fries" came up with a unique concept - selling just burgers ... and fries. The idea has worked tremendously.
Not only that, but they use really fresh and top quality ingredients ... and more importantly, they cook it AFTER you order it. The burgers are huge (and messy - which is fine by me, by the way). The fries are tasty - and the amount of fries given is more than generous - they put an extra scoop in each bag.
Sure, the price is a little higher than other fast-food chains, but good quality and taste more than justify the price. If you get a chance, take a trip to Five Guys.

My brother, he lives in Hoboken, introduced me to Five Guys. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place. They have the best burgers, ever!

Five Guys has fantastic burgers - you can tell the meat is fresh ground beef of a good quality. The fries are delicious "boardwalk style", thin and crispy - and they do overflow the container like Los says. But the one thing that keeps me from going back unless I am getting it to go is the seating and atmosphere of the place. You definately can't go there to relax. The place is loud (loud conversation, employees screaming out orders to the cook), hectic with people running everywhere and standing around waiting for their orders, messy (peanut shells all over the floor) and the chairs are like sitting on rocks. If they fix those things then they have a complete formula.
