A few weeks ago, I blogged about the new Burger King Breakfast Muffin, which was a credited rip-off of the Sausage McMuffin with Egg sandwich from McDonalds. This past weekend, I got to try it ... for research purposes, of course.
Truth be told, the McDonalds Sausage McMuffin with Egg is better than Burger King's efforts ... but not by much. I think McDonalds does a better job with their egg preparation keeping it almost poached in a way, whilst Burger King scrambles their eggs. Outside of that, they taste very similar. There's really no difference in the muffin, the sausage, or the cheese.
And for $1, you can't beat it.

I'm pretty much a Burger King guy all the way around, but I DO love McNuggets !
