Earlier this week, a coworker and I took a drive to Exton to go to a Chinese Buffet. However, we spotted this new burger joint (well, new to us) called "Buddy's Burgers, Breasts, and Fries." Heck, any restaurant having "Breasts" in its title warrants at least a little attention, right?
We decided to stop there and check it out. Folks, it's really similar to Five Guys, in that they don't use frozen patties, and everything is made to order. The "Buddy" is a burger with two patties. They also offer the "Little Buddy," which, as you can guess, is only one patty. You can also order Buddys with bacon, and the toppings are very fresh. The fries seem almost exactly like the Five Guys fries, except they don't give you as much (which is fine, since Five Guys fry amounts are obscene).
So, what seems to be different than Five Guys is the bun - which is heavily sesame seeded (a good thing in my book). Plus, if you are eating in, they don't give you your meal in a bag, but actually give you a tray (a nice touch). The price is a little cheaper than Five Guys too.
All in all, a very good experience. I'll definitely be back!
