The Talking Heads are known as an "art-rock" band. They tend to overproduce their songs, and experiment with sounds in their music. Not really a band I love for the most part, but there are some songs that I can deal with.
One in particular is their hit "Wild Wild Life." I probably like it, because it's more of a straight-ahead "poppy" rock song, with little experimentation. The lyrics are generally pretty simple to learn, and are at times goofy. The main chorus is catchy, and the drum beat and guitar licks are intriguingly simple (and catchy, also).
A couple of "interesting" things about the song. The video is quite funny, and features some interesting people, including John Goodman and Meatloaf. Secondly, this is one of my favorite songs to do at a Karaoke bar ... thought you should know.
