80's Corner

Charlie Chaplin was a silver-screen star long before any of us were born ... His "Tramp" character still, from time-to-time, rears it's head. This was especially true in the 1980's. IBM used the "Tramp" character in many of it's home-computer ads and commercials ... not really sure the connection, other than the "Tramp" was a simple guy, and I guess these pc's were marketed as "simple."

Anyway, do you remember this ad campaign?

Pretty cool ad for the time. Chaplin and Buster Keaton were great.
