80's Corner

Remember Micro Machines? Not sure if they're around anymore, but in the 1980's they made a huge splash. Ya see, back then, there were really only two companies that made those cool small cars kids would love - Hot Wheels and Matchbox.

Micro Machines jumped into the foray with even smaller cars. They looked cool, and the commercials were voiced by that fast-talking dude (I think he did some Fed Ex commercials in the 80's as well). I don't think I ever got any Micro Machines as a kid - I already had too many Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars ... plus, I probably would've lost them anyway.
