Weekly Homework Assignment

If you haven't tried Mama Kat's weekly homework assignment, shame on you! It's a lot of fun, and it gives you something to blog about. This week, I chose a "no-brainer."

Specifically, I chose the "Describe your significant other's most attractive quality(on the inside). The problem is that I have to narrow it down to one (major, major brownie points) ... but seriously, this is a tough one, because my wife has tons of great and attractive qualities ... not just her looks (I'm soooo getting some for this!) ... she's funny, caring, smart, and she allows me to watch sports ... a lot.

I guess her sense of humor is the thing that attracts me to her the most. I mean, heck, she married me, right? She'd HAVE to have a good sense of humor to take the plunge with me ... but I digress.

If you know anything about me, I love to laugh, and I love to joke, and I love to laugh some more. Let me give you an example of her sense of humor. It was the first time we met ... a blind-date, mind you (a topic for another blog). We met at a bar in center city (Philly) ... the Bar Noir (not sure if that place is still around).

I wasn't really sure what to expect ... I was a little nervous, because this girl was HOT. I started off talking about how I wished John McCain would've been president over Bush ... yeah, you read that right ... I TALKED POLITICS! I'm not even really sure why. She was nice enough to listen.

Later in the evening, as we were leaving the bar, she stands in the front of the bar, and says that there is a cover charge of $5. ... a total lie, by the way ... a few people were either getting ready to pay her, or getting ready to leave ... I knew right then and there, that there was something I really liked about her. 5 years later, I'm happily married to her, and she's still keeping me laughing. ]

Sounds like the two of you are a complete riot! My hubs and I met on a blind date a little over 2 years ago, and have not been apart since. There must be something to the whole BD thing!

Great post!

Wow, you must have been looking good that night because she wanted to spend more time with you after you spoke on the topics of politics. Lol.

What a lady! And FYI I'm going to make a blind date story part of next weeks prompts just so I can hear yours.
