Dope or Nope

Here's one that I just (unfortunately) came across this past weekend. I'm in a grocery line, and a lady in front of me is separating her groceries into two sections ... I know exactly what this means. She's planning on paying for part in cash, and the rest on her credit card.

For some reason, I hate this. Why can't she just do it all together? And, I'm not sure why this even bothers me. I mean, it doesn't really take that much extra time to complete the sale. The ones I really hate are the people who bring up a bunch of stuff, and then ask the cashier for a total before he/she enters everything. Then, they go and ask the cashier to take some items off the bill because they can't afford it. That one really bothers me. There should be a specific line dedicated to these derelicts, so that other normal shoppers can get through their shopping trips a lot easier.

I probably could have a dope or nope column dedicated to grocery shopping ...

That's a nope. It doesn't make sense to me. I could see maybe if you were at Wal-Mart and wanted to pay for say a TV on the credit card and everything else with cash or debit. But still it seems pretty annoying.

I know it's annoying but she's probably doing it for someone else that wants a receipt. :) The people that annoy me are the ones that think just because there is no one in the express lane they can go with their cart full of crap.

NOPE.

These days I think they should have a SEPARATE LINE for cash payers, etc.

I haven't held a paper note in years, I just swipe and move on. KEEP 'EM OUTTA MY WAY !

I seperate my basket for a whole different reason...price matching. I figure out who has the best price and watch carefully as each item is scanned. I do this to keep the line running smoothly. I even color code which store I am price matching...
then I get the coupons out. I can't wait for the day Wal-Mart pays me to shop...LOL
BTW isn't what that visa/debit card slot is for??? besides, they can ring it up altogether...UNLESS one is for business and the other personal...????Just some ideas

People who do this should have their cars blocked, so they have to wait to leave.

My bigger problem is with people who get in line while the spouse picks up more stuff. Don't get in line until you're done shopping.
