It's time for Mama Kat's weekly assignment again! This week, I chose the following prompt: What is a common misconception about you? Oh man, do I need to narrow it down? I mean, some people think I'm pompus, mentally challenged, genious, witty, non-caring, overcaring ... basically, it runs the gamet. I'm probably somewhere inbetween on all of these.
However, because I love to laugh, tell jokes, and goof off, there are many people who think that I can never be serious. Although, I'm not one who thrives when he's serious, there are times when I can be serious - especially when it comes friends, family and work. There have been many situations (too many, in fact, to even put on this blog) where I have been relied upon to be a good friend or family member - when a critical situation has occured, and "funny-Los" has to give way to "serious-Los." There have been plenty of times when we've hit crunch-time at work (again, probably too many to even list), and I've had to put on my "serious" hat. I am more than capable of doing this, and I've realized through the years that there is enough room in this world for both ... however, both need to be done in moderation.
