I'm really enjoying Hoegaarden right now - great summertime wheat beer ... one which you can (should) top off with an orange wedge ... helps to bring out a little more of the sweetness in the beer - a great, great beer to enjoy whilst sitting on the deck on a nice, warm summer evening. Don't let the "wheat" scare you - the beer is very, very refreshing. Sure, it's a bit on the expensive side, but it's well worth it.
However, if the price is still a little too ... well ... pricey for you, a nice substitute is Blue Moon.

i've enjoyed that before, you a sam adams summer ale fan or no?
Yeah - I drink that from time to time (obviously around summer time).
I almost bought a sixer of that over the weekend, but as you mentioned, the price was a little high. Curiousity will get me soon enough, I'm sure.
Monk's makes mimosas with Hoegaarden + OJ. Very good.
For the best wheat ale, it has to be Troegs DreamWeaver Wheat Ale (Reverse approved.)
