So, Iran is awash with protests after incumbent Knucklehead Mahmoud Ahmadinejadxqzwt was surprisingly re-elected president of Iran ... first of all, I'm shocked that Iran even have elections ... isn't Iran run in a dictatorship or totalitarian nature?
Second, it's Iran, folks ... nobody plays fair in Iran ... heck, Saddam Hussein thinks Iran cheats. It wouldn't surprise me in the least to find out that Mahmoud (it's easier to spell his first name) fiddled with the ballot boxes ... in fact I'd be surprised if he didn't. Those ballot boxes probably had shredders in them anyway, don't you think.
But, at the very least, there is a protest, which means there are a number of Iranians who are tiring of Mahmoud's antics and lunacy. It's a start, and the momentum created by Mahmoud during this election could actually spell his demise in the long-term.

yes. "surprisingly..."
What a mess. We may have political turmoil over here too, but I still feel so bad for the citizens over there.

Mahmoud is doing a fantastic job. You ever hear of a terrosit attack in IRAN?
Actually for years now there has been a very strong underground student movement to democratize Iran. I predict changes for that country, not before some significant bloodshed, unfortunately.
i am shocked

It's not an election. All candidates are pre-approved by the mad mullahs.
Which makes them absurdly stupid to piss off the people by denying them a placebo election result.
