We're Going Where?!?!?!?

As some of you may remember, my parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this past fall. As a present, my wife, brother, and his wife offered to go on a family trip with my parents ... and what better place to go than Riedlbauer's. For those of who unfamiliar with this "heavenly" place, here's the description on the opening page of their website: The minute you drive up the road, you will notice the gorgeous grounds with luscious flower beds wherever you look. After a day enjoying our beautiful grounds and many recreational activities, enjoy a delicious family style dinner in our 2 story air conditioned dining room, with adjoining bar where we have entertainment 7 nights a week.

Basically, Riedlbauer's is a German resort in the heart of the Catskill Mountains ... about 4 hours outside of Philly. Really, there's not much to do there except swim, play horse-shoes, and drink beer (actually, that doesn't sound too bad, does it?). Well, this is coming weekend is the weekend we picked to go. And, as luck (or planning) would have it, there is a German festival taking place, complete with oompah bands, as well as beer.
