80's Corner

Remember the last episode of MASH? This was the most viewed TV show in the history of US TV show watching ... until this past Super Bowl. I was never a fan of MASH for some reason (although I did have the Atari 2600 game). I just never got into it - I know it had a lot of good humor in it, but for some reason, I could never really find anything funny with regards to the Vietnam War. Maybe the topic was just a little too heavy for me ... whatever it is, I'm not sure. But I do remember thinking "Hot Lips" Houlihan was kind of cute.

I guess I was in the minority in not watchng the final episode. I was probably too busy watching Benny Hill or the Muppet Show.

My husband watches the re-runs. It's a big nope for me.

I watched every episode EXCEPT the last one. I heard it tanked critically, anyway.

Note : "tanked" was not meant as a war machine, and "critically" was not meant as a medical term.

I think MASH was one of the best shows on television ever. It was the Korean War, not the Vietnam.

Freaking loved this show. Though it switched from being humorous to serious at one point in its life. Still, both sides of the coin were fun to watch.

And Benny Hill and the Muppets were great too!

Big fan of Mash. Never new who was going to live or die on the show.

It was actually the Korean war that the show was about. I used to watched it every night. I loved it. I admit I was one of those people sitting around the TV during the last episode wishing it would never end LOL
