Remember the Hard Rock T-shirts and sweatshirts? It was all the rave of the late 1980's. If you happened to be in a town, like for instance, Chicago, you would go to the Hard Rock Cafe and purchase a shirt from there that said "Hard Rock Chicago." It was the "cool" thing to do.
I went to Cancun for senior week in 1990, and purchased what I thought was a knock-off Hard Rock Cafe sweatshirt that said Cancun on it ... it indeed said Cancun, but it also said "Heard Rock." No wonder it was so cheap ... sigh.
